Visa for entry to Nigeria (For those participants from countries requiring a visa to Nigeria): To obtain a visa, participants are required to contact the Nigerian Embassy at least two weeks in advance with all necessary documents. The organisers will provide, upon request, the necessary invitation letter.
Fee: 50/100 Dollars (Fifty/Hundred Dollars Only) per person/Organisation.
Included in the Fee are: Workshop materials, Coffee Breaks and Lunch/or early Dinner on the occasion of the award of certificates of participation
Not included in the fee are: Accommodation, Travel expenses, local transportation, evening meals
Objective of the Conference
- This two-day hybrid conference aims to address the critical role of sustainable agriculture in promoting economic development, food security, resilience, and environmental sustainability in Nigeria and across Africa.
- The conference is particularly dedicated to exploring how European innovations in sustainable agriculture can be adapted and integrated into the African context, with a special focus on Nigeria.
- As Africa faces unique challenges such as climate variability, soil degradation, population growth, resource depletion and water scarcity, lessons from Europe’s advanced sustainable agricultural practices offer valuable insights.
- The conference will provide a platform for dialogue, exchange of ideas, and collaborative planning among experts, practitioners, and stakeholders.

Certification
At the end of the conference, all participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
Visa
For foreign participants requiring a visa to enter Nigeria, AGEFADD will provide a visa support
letter upon receipt of payment and will inform the local Nigerian Embassy in the respective country
accordingly. The documentation required for organizing the visa or participation are:
- A copy of the first two pages of a valid passport of the participant
- A copy of a filled-in registration form for the conference (given below or online via link:)
- A copy of a bank confirmation that the amount of Fifty Dollars ($50) per participant has
been paid to the bank account of AGEFADD in Abuja, Nigeria (Bank details given on the
online registration form)
